About Our Project

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

This project is about the development and implementation of a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing unmanned transport aircraft for providing short- and medium-range cargo services in the cold northern regions of Canada. The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) will be specifically designed to operate in severe cold environments, with a temperature range of minus 40 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius. It will have a cargo capacity between 100kg and 500kg and a voyage range of 300-1000km. This innovative solution aims to address the logistical challenges faced by businesses operating in remote areas with limited infrastructure and extreme weather conditions.

Our Story

Our team, Arctic Air Transport Solutions (AATS), aims to revolutionize cargo transportation in Canada's cold northern regions by developing a VTOL fixed-wing unmanned transport aircraft.

  • This UAV will be designed to withstand severe cold environments and provide reliable and efficient cargo services to businesses operating in remote areas with limited infrastructure and challenging weather conditions.

  • This UAV will combine the capabilities of a fixed-wing aircraft for long-range efficiency with the ability to take off and land vertically, eliminating the need for traditional runways and infrastructure. The VTOL will be powered by battery or gasoline electric hybrid system. This technology will enable us to provide cost-effective, timely, and reliable cargo services to businesses operating in remote areas.
